Tony Todd, actor and voice actor, has passed away at age 69
Tony Todd, born Anthony Tiran Todd in Washington, D.C. in 1954, has passed away. Todd was a renowned actor known for his performances on the stage, in film and in television. He also has multiple voice acting credits. Todd passed away in his Los Angeles home on November 6th at age 69.
Todd has over 200 acting credits and multiple producing credits as well. He starred in the Final Destination film franchise. Our cultured nerds out there may also recognize him as appearing in both Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Todd voiced DC supervillain powerhouse, Darkseid, in the animated movies known together as the DCAMU (DC Animated Movie Universe) as well as Zoom in The Flash television series. He likewise voiced Marvel villain Venom in 2023’s Spider-Man 2 video game.
Todd’s cause of death has not been made public as of yet.
