New Videogame Releases – November 2021
With the year coming to an end, developers would look to close their year off on a high note by dropping their best entries and making a case for themselves in the run-up to the game awards 6 weeks from now. With that being said, November is lined up with some much-anticipated titles which are bound to keep players busy.

The Legend of Tianding – 11/1

Unpacking is a zen puzzle game about the familiar experience of pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home. Part block-fitting puzzle, part home decoration, you are invited to create a satisfying living space while learning clues about the life you’re unpacking.

World War Z – 11/2
World War Z’s co-op campaign focuses on unique survivor stories and missions around the globe, including New York, Moscow, and Jerusalem. Use traps, barriers, and the environment strategically to stay alive while unleashing a storm of firepower with a variety of weapons on the unrelenting hordes of the undead.
World War Z was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 16th, 2019, and released for the Nintendo Switch on November 2nd, 2021.

Call of Duty: Vanguard – 11/5

The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf – 11/16
In his dark laboratory, the evil wizard Gargamel has discovered a formula allowing him to create a wicked plant, called Vileaf. This plant produces “Viletrap” seeds, which can attract Smurfs and imprison them in vegetal traps! But these Viletrap plants are also a great danger for the forest, as they are highly toxic, especially for the sarsaparilla fields! In order to fix this dreadful situation, Papa Smurf decided to ask some of his fellow Smurfs to help him find the ingredients for an antidote powerful enough to eradicate the Vileaf once and for all and heal the plants afflicted by this curse. An ace Smurf team, featuring Hefty, Smurfette, Brainy, and Chef, goes on an adventure to complete this mission. All of these 4 characters are playable over the course of the game.

Surviving the Aftermath – 11/16
In Surviving the Aftermath, players will build and manage a colony of survivors in the shadow of a world-ending event. Resources are scarce following the apocalypse, and survival requires mastery of complex systems to optimize production and colony management to ensure nothing is wasted. Players will construct buildings, manage colonists, adapt to natural disasters, and more in an effort to restore civilization. Surviving the Aftermath is more than a colony builder and enables players to go beyond the shelter to explore a dangerous world filled with unique biomes, hazards, bandits, and more. Recruit and send out teams of Specialists to gather resources and intelligence about the world around the colony. Players can see what their teams have discovered by utilizing a vast overworld map that adds layers of strategic gameplay not typically included in a colony builder.

The Waylanders is a classic party-based RPG featuring some of the top talents who brought well-known titles within the genre like the Dragon Age, Mass Effect, or Pillars of Eternity sagas.

Klang 2 – 11/17
Klang 2 is a psychedelic rhythm-action game, blindly pursuing full immersion with dance music through high-speed combat.

BloodRayne: ReVamped 2 – 11/18

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Pokemon Shining Pearl
– 11/19
Developed by ILCA, Inc., and directed by Junichi Masuda (Game Freak) and Yuichi Ueda (ILCA), Pokemon Brilliant Diamond enables fans to experience the original story and game features from Pokemon Diamond in a fresh way. The original game has been faithfully reproduced and colorfully revitalized for Nintendo Switch. The sense of the scale of the towns and routes has been carefully preserved, and fans who played the original game will recognize many familiar places. The game has been updated with the easy-to-understand, player-friendly conveniences introduced in recent Pokemon core series video games, in addition to up-close-and-personal Pokemon battle scenes. Trainers will choose either Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup to be their first partner Pokemon before setting off on their journey. Along the way, they will be able to encounter the Legendary Pokemon Dialga in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond.
