[SDCC14] Footage Description for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice teaser

Earlier today at the San Diego Comic Con, along with the first photo of Wonder Woman, DC and WB revealed a special trailer for the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

While the footage was set to only been seen by those in attendance, several websites have posted descriptions of what was shown to fans, and every description points to one thing; An epic fight between the two title characters.

The short teaser opens with a shot of Batman, in a full armor that is very reminiscent of Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns (see image above). Standing on a roof during a downpour with blue glowing eyes,we see the dark knight pulls down a lever that causes Bat-Signal to relight and blast the new Bat-Symbol across the clouds above. As the camera slowly pans up to the clouds, we see the signal is now projected with Superman floating in the center of it. With his eyes glowing red we see the hero slowly descend down to rooftop where Batman is standing, waiting for him. The teaser ends with both heroes standing face to face, both eyes glowing, and both ready to duke it out. Then the screen cuts to the films logo and title.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is currently set for a May 6, 2016 release date.
