Hulk Actor Confirms Next Solo Hulk Movie
With Marvel’s recent announcement that they have their movies planned out til the year 2028, many fans have been wondering what movies are on that list. So far, we only have insight into a few years out as to what movies we can expect, but it looks like we may have discovered a new one on the list.
In an interview with a local Minnesota radio station, former Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno said that Marvel is planning a new solo movie for the angry green giant. After talking some about how the Hulk “saved the day” in The Avengers, the actor went on to say:
Now because he saved the day they’re making another solo Hulk movie after the second Avengers comes out.
No other information about the alleged movie has surfaced, and no official Marvel representative has confirmed the movie as of yet. If true, this represents a good opportunity for actor Mark Ruffalo to show his stuff, as we haven’t seen him in a solo Hulk movie yet. It will be interesting to see how Marvel would play a sequel to 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Since Edward Norton wouldn’t be in it, could we expect other actors like William Hurt and Liv Tyler to return? Would it be a continuation of the first Incredible Hulk movie, or would they scrap the storyline and start anew? Marvel could take this several ways, but we’ll have to wait for an official announcement before any details are verified.
