Jaimie Alexander’s “Lady Sif” is coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D this season

Just when you thought Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. didn’t have enough film characters in it, Marvel drops this interesting bomb on everyone.

Arune Singh, Marvel’s Executive Director of TV Communications, tweeted the following during ABC’s Television Critics Association presentation:

While this announcement sure makes for an interesting development in the show. While it obviously raises the question of “why is she coming to Earth?” many at this point are speculating its due to the after credit’s scene for Thor: The Dark World.

Either way, fans will see more Lady Sif soon enough.
