Warner Bros. Animation Directors Confirm A New “Super Secret” Looney Tunes Project Is Undergoing Development
That’s NOT all, Folks!
Just as news broke out of the ACME crate last week that The Day The Earth Blew Up!: A Looney Tunes Movie is getting a Winter 2025 theatrical release, more whacky antics are road-running full speed ahead over at Warner Bros. Animation according to studio head Bill Damaschke.
Despite the classic IP being notably absent in WBA’s panel at the Lightbox Expo, Damaschke reassures animation fans that another Looney Tunes project is currently being developed and is expected to be slated as a theatrical release. The untitled project is being helmed by directors Todd Wilderman and Hamish Grieve, whom both will be working on a separate project after that. However, Damaschke is currently focused on polishing the current Hanna-Barbera reboot Meet The Flinstones, which was the main focal point of the studio’s panel.
Further details regarding the “super secret” project have not been disclosed at this time.
