Benedict Cumberbatch joins the cast of MCU’s Spider-Man 3

Benedict Cumberbatch is reprising his role as Doctor Strange in Tom Holland’s next Spider-Man movie.

Benedict Cumberbatch has joined the cast of Spider-Man 3. Fans were already treated to the casting news of Jaime Foxx returning as Electro. With these official casting news, and with a few rumors spreading around, it seems as though Marvel is pulling out all the stops for it’s possible final MCU Spider-Man. Some fans speculate this casting could point to a multiverse storyline, but of course this is just speculation.

The currently untitled Tom Holland Spider-Man sequel is set to release on December 17th, 2021.
