“Little Nightmares II” Trailer Gives “Heebie Jeebies” a Whole New Meaning
Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco are back with their sequel to 2017’s extremely disturbing horror-platformer Little Nightmares, appropriately christened Little Nightmares II. While announced last year with few details, the Little Nightmares II received its very own gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2020 this year.
The unsettling trailer introduces us to new character Mono, who sports a paper bag on his head, and follows his quest to survive The City. The new landscape seems just as dangerous as, if not more so than, The Maw from the first game.
Mono must dodge terrifyingly awful enemies that also somehow manage to up the ante on the creep factor of the original. But as a nice treat, we do see Mono meet up with Little Nightmares protagonist Six, who will help him along the way.
Little Nightmares II will drop for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on February 11th, 2021. Next-gen versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X will follow later that year.
