The first Marvel Cinematic Universe show The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is currently in production. Some recent set photos (check them out below) have revealed that within the show, the U.S. government appears to be heavily promoting US Agent to take over the role of Captain America. In Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers passes his shield down to Sam Wilson (The Falcon). It is not known what US Agent’s specific role will be in the show as he as made comic appearances as both a hero and villain.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will debut on Disney+ in Fall 2020 and will be comprised of six episodes featuring returning MCU stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Emily VanCamp. It will be directed by Kari Skogland.
