“Ant-Man 3” to be Directed by Peyton Reed

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peyton Reed will return to direct the third movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Ant-Man franchise. Reed directed the first two films, and Paul Rudd is expected to return as Scott Lang.

The movie has a rumored release year of 2022 (Phase 5 in the MCU), and could start shooting around the end of 2020 or early 2021. No plot details are known as of yet, but it will likely be an enjoyable and comedy-filled experience if the direction is similar to the first two installments.
