It seems to be a big day for DC comics fans, and while rumors for months now have been pointing to this, Warner Brothers has officially revealed that director Zack Snyder will be directing the Justice League.
But the biggest shock to the reveal isn’t that the director is taking the gig, but that it will be a two-part story. Zack Snyder will direct Justice League Part One for release in 2017, and Justice League Part Two for 2019.
While this isn’t the first time that WB has decided to split its film in two parts, being a highly successful move that they made with the final Harry Potter film, its interesting to see that the films will be separated by a full 2 years between them, leading many to speculate that the films in between (Shazam, The Flash, and Aquaman) may be holding key plot points for the second act of the massive story.
