Last month fans learned that actor Nick Tarabay (“Spartacus”) had been officially cast as ‘Digger Harkness’ (aka ‘Captain Boomerang’) for an appearance in the third season of CW’s Arrow, eventually leading into the character appearing in the upcoming Arrow/Flash crossover event.
Now thanks to the wonders of the internet, fans have a first look at the character thanks to set photos:
‘For his upcoming appearance in the show, the character is described as:
“former A.R.G.U.S. operative, highly skilled in martial arts and espionage, with a deadly thirst for vengeance against his former employers.”
In the comics, “‘Captain Boomerang’ is primarily one of The Flash’s rogues gallery, but as mentioned above, the plan is to have the character debut on Arrow and then later cross over into The Flash.
Arrow is currently in its 3rd season and airs Wednesday nights on The CW.
