Heavenly Sword film adaptation heads to DVD, Blu-ray, and PSN on Sept. 2

Heavenly Sword first debuted as a launch title for the PS3 back upon its initial US release in 2007, and for those who played it can attest to this game being one of the hardest games of that consoles generation.

Then Sony shocked everyone when they revealed that the game would be getting a film adaptation, and now we know that the film will head to DVD, Blu-ray, and PSN on Sept. 2 of this year.

The straight-to-video film brings back star Anna Torv (Fringe), reprising her role as the title character Nariko. Joining her in this story is Alfred Molina and Thomas Jane.
