In a move that’s likely going to break the patient hearts of fans, Square Enix revealed today through a report coming from Famitsu (via Sqex.info), that both Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 will not be coming to E3 2014, which is set for this upcoming week.
At this point it does come as no surprise, even if it is disappointing. Final Fantasy XV, once known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII, was first announced in May of 2006 has seen an incredibly long and complex development cycle, which led to many believing that the game would never see the light of day.
With Kingdom Hearts 3 getting a semi-tease trailer with the release date announcement of Kingdom Hearts II.5 HD ReMix, it still comes as a shock that for a game announced at E3 2013 would be missing an ample opportunity to show off.
Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 are currently in developement for PS4 and Xbox One.
