Tim Blake Nelson Joins Fantastic Four Reboot As The Mole Man

Yes, Fox is giving us one of Marvel’s most awesomely ridiculous characters to ever walk the pages of The Fantastic Four in their new reboot of Marvel’s first family.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that actor Tim Blake Nelson is currently in talks to play Dr. Harvey Elder, who in the comics later goes on to become The Mole Man.

“Sources say the Mole Man will not appear in this movie but Elder’s appearance does set up the character to be the villain in future installments of the franchise,”

Who they then go on to describe him as  “an eccentric and socially awkward scientist.”

The Fantastic Four is currently set for June 19, 2015.
