Halo: The Master Chief Collection coming to Xbox One?

With the announcement of Halo 5: Guardians comes the rumor of a Master Chief Collection.  According to the recent article from Engadget, Halo 1 – Halo 4 would be included in a full HD remaster for the Xbox One.  It is said to be released later this year.

One idea is that Microsoft will release the collection to give the fans a chance to refresh themselves with the games that started it all in this epic series. If this collection is in fact coming to Xbox One, it might be the push some gamers need to purchase the Xbox One which has been getting outclassed by the Playstation 4 since release.

As of now, Microsoft has not responded to the rumors, as is their fashion when it comes to speculation about upcoming announcements. If anything, this will be a tightly kept secret until E3 this June.
