With STAR WARS: Episode VII already filming, today director J.J. Abrams surprised everyone with an official behind-the-scenes video taking form the set of the film.
While the video itself is all for charity, taking a moment from filming to talk about and launch Star Wars: A Force For Change, a brand new charity set to be “Dedicated to finding creative solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems.”
The campaign is set to raise funds for UNICEF, and to everyone’s surprise also offers fans the chance to actually be in Episode VII. For each $10 contribution made through the the link below, eligible participants will be entered to win a shot at being in the film itself.

But charity aside, fans seem to have only taken away one thing, that new alien is not CGI. It seems J.J. was true to his word with using practical effects on this film instead of an over abundance of CGI.
