Electronic Arts plans to show Star Wars: Battlefront at this years E3, EA CEO Andrew Wilson said today.
EA expects to reveal more about the new Battlefront “and other new projects in development” at this years game expo.
EA announced the new Star Wars: Battlefront at last year’s E3, by leaking a brief teaser trailer that showed a very short clip of what looks to be the planet Hoth.
The clip shown could even lead one to believe that players will be going through the fight on the battlefield itself, and then take to the skies in their fighters for the space combat.
Star Wars Battlefront is being developed by DICE using Frostbite 3.
It’s been 10 years since the first Battlefront captivated the minds of gamers and Star Wars fans alike. Now with the support of DICE and the Frostbite 3 Game Engine, the company expects to release Battlefront along with as many as six new titles at this year’s E3 expo.
