The Last Of US: Remastered Edition is officially coming to PS4
Rumors have been running rampant (here and here) for weeks, and it seems one final slip up was all that Sony needed to have before the game was officially outed, and that is exactly what happened.
Earlier this week many gamers were reporting that despite official report form Sony, a Pre-Order Banner for the game popped up on the PSN.
Quickly after it was found by fans (and luckily some got a screen shot), many began to report that is now currently links to a “page not found” error but does indicate that it is real, it is coming, and it will be for $59.99.
But now, the damage is done. Amazon now has The Last of Us Remastered available for pre-order for $60.
The description reads the following:
“The Last of Us Remastered includes the Abandoned Territories Map Pack, Reclaimed Territories Map Pack, and the critically acclaimed The Last of Us: Left Behind Single Player campaign that combines themes of survival, loyalty, and love with tense, survival-action gameplay.” Remastered will also be in 1080p, and feature “In-game cinematic commentary from the cast and creative director.”
Amazon gives the game a placeholder release window of the end of the year, but many are reporting that it will actually be closer to the end of this summer.
