Variety has broken the news that actor Ray Fisher has officially been cast as Victor Stone/Cyborg in the upcoming Batman/Superman film. Along with the report came confirmation of previous rumors that the character actually won’t have a large role in the film, but his role could expand as Warner Bros. preps more DC Universe films.
“[Cyborg] will become a much more significant role as Warner and D.C. develop more films related to the Justice League universe, sources confirm.”
Its no shock that this character is now joining the ranks of the Man Of Steel sequel, especially considering the S.T.A.R. Labs Easter Egg in the first film, and DC’s apparent desire to get their Justice League film made.
Batman/Superman is currently set for a Summer 2016 release date.
