Persona 3 The Movie: Chapter 2 – Midsummer Knight’s Dream gets a trailer and Movie # 1 gets a US release date

Fans of JRPG’s know full well what the Persona series is, and what it has to offer. The Persona series, especially the last 2 installments, have been regarded as the best of the genre. Mixing elements of a social simulator and a classic RPG dungeon crawling, the Persona has left its mark.

Shortly after the Persona 4 Anime series was concluded, fans were treated to the reveal that Persona 3 would be getting a film adaptation. With the first film, Persona 3 The Movie: Chapter 1 – Spring of Birth, already released in Japan, the second film in this series, Chapter 2 – Midsummer Knight’s Dream, now has its first trailer live online.

Along with the reveal of the new trailer, it was revealed that Aniplex of America will officially release the first film with English subtitles in North America on May 20, 2014 on Blu Ray. However, to many what comes as a great disappointment, the film will apparently not receive an English dub and will only be subtitled in English.
