Did WB/DC Just Reveal Justice League will be directed by Zack Snyder?
A Few hours ago The Wall Street Journal released what could be considered the biggest scoop of the week, that being the official announcement of the Justice League film. The biggest surprise isnt that its being made (no shock there), but that Zack Snyder, the director of Man Of Steel and the upcoming Batman/Superman film, will be helming the long awaited film of these legendary heroes.
Like “Man of Steel” and its follow-up, which starts production next month, “Justice League” will be directed by Zack Snyder. Henry Cavill is expected to return as Superman, along with Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, who play Batman and Wonder Woman, respectively, in 2016’s “Man of Steel” sequel tentatively titled “Batman vs. Superman.”
According to their report producer Greg Silverman revealed:
“It will be a further expansion of this universe,” he said. “’Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League.’”
While they also revealed that there are currently no plans for an official Wonder Woman Spin off, Sue Kroll, president of worldwide marketing, revealed that WB is warm to the idea;
“That is our hope, With the right script, that could be viable. The world is ready for her.”
I dont want to scream out in excitement just yet, being that this isn’t an official press release by Warner Brothers, but this is exciting news and I for one cant wait to see what DC/WB have up their sleeves for these heroes.
