“Next-Gen” Remaster of Mass Effect Trilogy a Possibility

Bioware’s Aaryn Flynn replied to a hopeful tweet from a fan on Twitter yesterday. In his response, he confirmed that the company has gone over the possibility of releasing a remastered version of the trilogy for the next-gen consoles Xbox One and PS4.

Since the topic as been confirmed in the ‘discussion’ stage as of March 2nd, it’s unlikely that we’ll see the remaster anytime soon, assuming they decide to go forward with it. The studio already has it’s hands full with the next game in the Mass Effect series, and I think we can safely assume that’s a much higher priority.

Aaryn Flynn has confirmed (also via his Twitter feed) that we can expect updates on the new ME game sometime this year, so keep checking back for more updates!
