Adam Driver sure has gotten some interesting press lately. First it was the rumor that he was a front-runner to play Dick Grayson/Nightwing in the upcoming Batman/Superman film, and now it seems the actor is going to be joining the ranks of those in that Galaxy Far, Far Away…
Variety is now reporting that actor Adam Driver is set to play “the villain” of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars Episode VII.
While no further details were revealed, they went on to state that the official announcement should be coming soon from Disney, with filming currently set to begin in a few months.
At this point, this could turn out to be just another rumor. But if its not, we may have finally seen our first “official” casting choice for this highly anticipated film.
Star Wars Episode VII is currently set for a Dec. 18, 2015 release date.
