Thomas Kretschmann is officially Baron Strucker in Avengers: Age of Ultron

For a while now, there has been a lot of speculation about who would be playing the infamous Baron Von Strucker in the upcoming Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Since the initial report indicating that he would be in the film arouse, many have wondered who would be playing this legendary Captain America villain, and now thanks to The Hollywood Reporter we now know that Thomas Kretschmann has been cast as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

While not much else was confirmed about the role, they do indicate that it is a multi-picture contract, and some rumors are even flying that the Baron will have a cameo in Captain America: The Winter Solider, which is currently filming re-shoots as we speak.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015.
