Earlier today in a new post on Halo Waypoint, 343’s Josh Holmes discussed the recent departure of their art director Kenneth Scott and his new replacement Nicolas “Sparth” Bouvier.
At the end of the post, fans were treated with a new look at some concept art from Bouvier and stated that its:
“an early exploration of a new location that features prominently in a little game project we’re tinkering with.”
While not much else was revealed about the project, or even the art that was shown, fans can still expect to see Halo 5 sometime this year, with many speculating that its full reveal and release date will be revealed at the next E3.
Halo 5 is currently slated for an exclusive release on Xbox One sometime in 2014.
