Penn Badgley and Ezra Miller are also now in the shortlist to play Nightwing?

Right off the news that actor Adam Driver is reportedly a “serious contender” to play Dick Grayson in Zack Snyder’s upcoming film, Batman Vs. Superman, we now have 2 more names to add to the list; Penn Badgley and Ezra Miller.

SuperheroMovieNews claims the exclusive news was delivered to them this morning and with it the following detail:

The shortlist apparently consists of six actors. One of these actors have been a fan favourite for the role for quite some time now and the other actor is a rather interesting choice, but let’s start with choice number one.

Now as I said before in my previous article, that due to the highly confidential nature of DC and WB studios (and how meticulously they’ve planned this film) its likely that these names are people that “were” contenders rather than “are” contenders, but either way, its interesting to see who WB is eyeing for the role of the Boy Wonder all grown up.

Batman vs. Superman is currently set for a July 17th 2015 release date.
