Earlier today at a panel at the New York Comic Con today, it was revealed that the upcoming Star Wars Animated TV series, Star Wars Rebels, will take place fourteen years after the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, with the masses starting to see that the new regime isn’t as great as it appeared when it started.
The above character image is for the series main villain, ‘The Inquisitor’, who’s tasked with hunting the young team the show focuses on. One of the more interesting reveals is that none of the Stormtroopers in the show are clones, but that many of them were trained by the previous clone army.
According to Bleeding Cool, there is also a chance that characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars appearing, while they add that, “The showrunners won’t be scared to kill of characters either.”
