In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal in regards to his Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. cameo, actor Samuel L. Jackson made an unexpected casting reveal for the upcoming film, Avengers: Age Of Ultron:
“I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year,” Jackson said of “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the next film to begin shooting in the Marvel universe. ”I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen [who will play the Scarlet Witch], but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.”
So at this point the ball is in Marvel/Disney’s Court as to its official casting confirmation, otherwise if this turns out to be false, there goes a tiny shred of credibility from Sam Jackson, but then again, he IS Sam Jackson and he can troll if he wants to.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron is set to hit theaters in Summer of 2015.
