Bluetooth-Powered Dice+ for Mobile Gaming Launched

Just when you thought you had all you needed for playing games on your smartphone or tablet, it turns out there’s something new on the market. Announced last year, Dice+ is a six-sided dice that uses Bluetooth tethering to connect to your mobile device.

While the library of games to support Dice+ is limited, the company seems fairly positive that app developers will pick up their software developer’s kit, available at their website.

The Dice+ has a current listed price of $39.99. Among the features listed, the Dice+ has six faces with color-variable LEDs, touch sensitivity, and for some reason, a thermometer. Which, apparently, is necessary to enhance your gaming experience. Maybe I’ll buy this if they release a D20 version.
