DC/WB Looking at Bryan Cranston and Mark Strong to play Lex Luthor in the upcoming Batman/Superman film?

Since the reveal was made that DC/WB is moving forward with a Batman/Superman film many have speculated who would be playing the role of Lex Luthor.

Now Latino Review has added fuel to the fire by dropping the names of Bryan Cranston and Mark Strong into the mix. While they admit that its just a rumor at this point, Digital Spy even caught up with actor Mark Strong who replied:

“All I can say is… watch this space.”

Personally either actor would be an amazing pick, but I do feel that Cranston may be a little old for the part and we could run into the same vibe that Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey gave where its Superman vs a smart and craft older fellow. And on the other hand, Picking Mark Strong would possibly eliminate his returning (in any form) as Sinestro for a future Green Lantern reboot, which to be honest he was single-handedly the best part of that film.

Either way, fans know that this isnt the last we will hear from this rumor and only time will tell.

Superman/Batman is scheduled for a US release in Summer 2015.
