It is official. The Xbox One video game console will release this November for $499 in the U.S., and also in in 21 markets later this year at an unspecified date.
The Xbox One was revealed last month at a Microsoft press conference in Redmond, Wash. Since its initial reveal it has seen more focused hatred than any other electronic device to date.
Its policies regarding privacy, used games, constant online connectivity and mandatory Kinect (thanks Polygon) have been at the stem of this controversy, but regardless of the individual opinions on some, the console is set to release this fall.
