Latest issue of Famitsu provides status updates on latest Final Fantasy games

In the latest issue of Famitsu it has been reported that they are revealing a brief update on the development status of various announced Final Fantasy games.

FF-Reunion’s aibo_ac7 went to twitter and reports simply that completion percentages (the Japanese versions that is) are as follows:

  • Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII – 70% complete
  • Final Fantasy X HD – 80% complete
  • Final Fantasy X-2 HD – 65% complete
  • Final Fantasy VIII (HD PC Remaster) – 80% complete

Whats surprising to many is the lack of any reference to the long sought after Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but with Square Enix making promises that this E3 will be one of their biggest ever, many are holding onto the hope that we may finally see an appearance.
