Recently thanks to some press screenings, and the subsequent review embargo’s being lifted, reviews and spoilers for IRON MAN 3 hit the web. While most of the reviews were positive, claiming that it was either the best in the series, or that despite its overly comedic tone it was still amazing.
There was one rain cloud that seemed to appear, a recent list of spoilers from the film has begun to surface, many of which have left fans in an uproar thanks to the …”liberties” the writer/director took with the characters.

Now that you are still reading, Its assumed that you are fully aware of the fact that major key points in the film may and probably will be ruined for you, and wit that in mind, we move forward.
Highlight for spoilers.
Now while many are holding onto their actual viewing of the film to confirm if these spoilers are indeed true or not, its worth noting that the primary one that is causing the controversy is the one in regards to The Mandarin’s true identity According to the site, What Culture, (whos post in its regard as of now seems to have been removed) they revealed that Ben Kingsley’s character barely even shows up in the film for most of its first hour, and once Tony’s house is complete destroyed, Tony Stark tracks him down, travels to Florida to face off against the Mandarin at his “home”, and once he arrives, he storms his bedroom to find two women under the sheets with The “Mandarin” coming out of the bathroom and reveals that he is simply a paid actor working for the real Mandarin Aldrich Killian (played by Guy Pearce).
While this whole reveal seems to cause a great divide among those who have learned of it, its worth noting that with the whole persona of “The Mandarin” revealed as a misdirection, it does leave the opening for Marvel to possibly introduce the real character, magic rings and all, in a later film once Magic has been established in their upcoming DR Strange film.
Either way, the film has been getting rave reviews, so controversial moments aside, its still a good installment according to most who’ve seen it.
