It sure sounds like Ryan Reynolds Has Very Little Interest In Doing another Green Lantern or even JUSTICE LEAGUE

Earlier today we heard from Ryan Reynolds in regards to potentially getting that long sought after Deadpool movie off the ground, but it seems his visit with Empire had more fruit to bear than just his dealings with Fox and the X-Men franchise.

Over the past several years,Warner Brother’s has made several strong attempts to get a Justice League movie off the ground, and it finally seems that we may being seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

But with all the rumored script troubles, changing hands, casting nightmares, and rumored on again and off again involvement from Christopher Nolan, its no wonder that many aren’t taking this idea seriously. But one of the bigger questions in this entire ordeal is Will WB/DC be giving Ryan Reynolds another shot at Green Lantern? or will they simply start fresh and recast?

While many fans really had some mixed emotions about this film, many would agree that it wasn’t all bad. Sure the movie was rocky, has some script issues, and really didn’t do any of the characters justice, none of the blame really would be laid upon Reynolds and how he portrayed Hal Jordan/Green Lantern.

So will this happen? Will DC/WB give Reynolds another shot to win the fans over? At this point who knows, but thats not keeping Reynolds from adding his feelings on the entire thing.

“I don’t know, if you’re going to do a comic book movies in that vein you really have to get them right. Joss Whedon is a guy that just nails it, Christopher Nolan as well. If they were going to do it like that, yeah it would be interesting to do. Working on Green Lantern I saw how difficult it is to make that concept palatable, and how sort of confused it can all be when you don’t really know where you’re going with it or you don’t really know how to access that world that comic book fans have been accessing for decades and falling in love with. So at this point I have very little interest in joining that, as always a very good script and great director could turn that around.”

Now while it doesn’t give the best impression that hes all for it, he does mention that if there is “a very good script, and a great director” all of that could change. And with all the recent rumors of WB stepping up their game and getting Nolan and Bale to come back, it could very well mean that Reynolds may be getting exactly what he asked for.
