The Next Assassins’ Creed may be called Assassins’ Creed IV: Black Flag, and its about Pirates

For many, the Assassins’ Creed franchise is a keystone to the video game experience. Since its debut many years ago, fans have followed and witnessed an immense story that balances the past historical events weaved with conspiracy and science fiction.

With the ending of last years Assassins’ Creed III, many wondered what would be coming next.

Kotaku may have the answer.

According to Kotaku they received this poster from a tipster:

Then referenced a recent post from Reddit to add to its validity.

Earlier this month, a Redditor claimed to have seen the name Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flags on an airplane while peaking at a powerpoint presentation by the woman who sat in front of him.

“I was on a flight where the lady in the row in front of me was working on a powerpoint presentation on marketing strategies of several gaming titles,” Redditor photoacoustic wrote. “And one that stood out the most was AC4: Black Flags, aimed for release 2013 Holiday season according to her slide. It already had a cool looking logo for it.”

 

Then in a move that helped seemingly confirm it all, they posted a follow up about the “back side” of the poster.

 

I for one hope this is all true, and that we get real confirmation from UBISOFT about it shortly, but most off all… I want that poster.
