The Elder Scrolls Online beta signups begin; new cinematic trailer gets players pumped
Bethesda has just released a new trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO), the upcoming MMO adaptation of the popular franchise. It’s purely cinematic, no gameplay, but that’s absolutely fine, because it’s made up of a combination of awesome and amazing.
This trailer announces the opening of beta signups for the game. There is no indication as to when the beta will start or how long it will last just yet, but if you’re interested check out their signup page for more information and to apply. Also, take your time and be as detailed as you can on your application, as it is indicated that filling out every field completely will greatly improve your chances of getting into the beta.
TESO’s story consists of three factions fighting for control of the Imperial City and White-Gold Tower. The three factions are: The Daggerfall Covenant, The Aldmeri Dominion, and The Ebonheart Pact. These factions will fight each other and enemies from Oblivion, and the story in the game take place roughly 1000 years before the events of Skyrim, allowing for more flexibility in design and the ability to avoid interfering with too much of the already existing cannon.
