{"id":9250,"date":"2013-07-15T16:49:43","date_gmt":"2013-07-15T23:49:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theculturednerd.com\/?p=9250"},"modified":"2013-07-15T16:49:43","modified_gmt":"2013-07-15T23:49:43","slug":"hugh-jackman-really-wants-wolverine-and-spider-man-to-fight-alongside-the-avengers-on-film","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/?p=9250","title":{"rendered":"Hugh Jackman REALLY Wants Wolverine and Spider-Man to Fight Alongside THE AVENGERS on film"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wolvespider.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-9251\" alt=\"wolvespider\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theculturednerd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/wolvespider.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a recent interview with <a href=\"http:\/\/collider.com\/wolverine-avengers-spider-man-crossover-movie\/\">Collider<\/a>, actor Hugh Jackman was asked what it would take to get Wolverine to finally meet up with the Avengers in a future film, to which he responded:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><em>\u201cMate, I ask the same question.\u00a0 I literally asked the same question the other day to Tom from Marvel who works with all the other studios, he works with Sony and Fox, that\u2019s his job to liaise.\u00a0 I said, \u2018Man, can this happen?\u2019 and he goes \u2018Look, it\u2019s not gonna be easy because you\u2019re working with different studios and they\u2019re their properties.\u2019\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em> But I believe\u2014maybe I\u2019m optimistic, I understand at Marvel they\u2019ve got\u00a0The Avengers, they\u2019ve got a lot of big things going on, but at some point I just find it almost impossible that there\u2019s not a way to bring Iron Man, all the Avengers characters, Wolverine, the\u00a0X-Men\u00a0characters, Spider-Man, and somehow get them in together.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Obviously knowing about the issues with the characters rights, the actor then suggested that the profits just get split 3 ways:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><em>\u201c(smiling) I don\u2019t see the impediment!\u00a0 I\u2019m like, okay you\u2019ve got three studios, just split it three ways in terms of the cost, and happy days it\u2019s all coming together!\u00a0 I would love to\u2026 I\u2019m in for it, I\u2019m totally up for it because I think that would be really exciting for fans across the board.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>While fans have been saying it for years, its still nice to see that even the actors themselves want to make this happen. Maybe one day these studios will put all the greed and politics aside and just give the fans what they want, a TRUE Marvel Cross-Over Film.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-summary\">\n&nbsp;
