There\u2019s an absolute ton of rumors that are right now floating around for Warner Bros<\/strong>. planned Justice League<\/em><\/strong> film. While we really don\u2019t know for certain which team they are running with, who’s involved, and so on. We do know that there has been some traction lately and it seems to be moving.<\/p>\n

While we do know that at one point Will Beall<\/strong> (Screen writer for Gangster Squad<\/em><\/strong>) wrote a draft, but reports suggest that it was pulled entirely for a different take with a different feel.<\/p>\n

At this point, one thing is clear..the future of this film depends heavily upon the success of Zack Snyder\u2018s Superman<\/strong> reboot Man of Steel<\/em><\/strong>. Its no doubt that this is the case, WB\/DC<\/strong> wouldn’t want to put out such a heavy project on a film that could potentially fail like their last Superman<\/strong> outing (looking at you Superman Returns<\/em><\/strong>), so the idea that all planning is on hold until Man of Steel<\/em><\/strong> hits is fairly obvious.<\/p>\n

But that doesnt mean they cant prepare just in case it does like we all hope it will. Recently rumors hit that David Goyer <\/a>(writer for The Dark Knight Trilogy<\/em><\/strong> and Man of Steel<\/em><\/strong>) was being eyed, but now signs are actually pointing at Zack Snyder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A couple days ago ScreenCrush<\/a> posted an interview with Gangster Squad<\/em> <\/strong>director Ruben Fleischer<\/strong>, who while doing press rounds for that film got asked about the possibility that he might be being eyed for Justice League<\/em><\/strong>, to that comment he replied;<\/p>\n

Well that\u2019s something that Zack Snyder is going to wind up doing.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now, in Empire<\/a>, there was an interesting line that was printed stating:<\/p>\n

Whether we get a \u2018Justice League,\u2019 [Warner Bros] say, depends on \u2018Man of Steel.\u2019 If we do, they say,\u00a0Zack Snyder\u00a0will be asked to direct.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In the same article, Zack Snyder<\/strong> himself indicates that his Metropolis<\/strong> isn\u2019t going to be cut off and isolated from the DC Universe<\/strong> like Christopher Nolan\u2019s Gotham City<\/strong> was:<\/p>\n

\u2026in a weird way it is also the DC world. I have been making references to the DC universe, just to let you know that world is out there.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

With all of this interesting comments lately, obviously the rumors seem to be pointing at Zack Snyder<\/strong> filling the directors chair for the highly anticipated film, and while many wouldn’t object to this, its interesting to note\u00a0 that almost every source is saying that he is key to the entire process.<\/p>\n

I for one wouldn’t mind at all to see it, Snyder<\/strong> proved to me flat out with Watchmen<\/em><\/strong> that he knows what he is doing, and if the recent trailer for Man of Stee<\/em><\/strong>l says anything, he knows Superman<\/strong> even better.<\/p>\n
