Not long ago, it was revealed that a S.H.I.E.L.D<\/em><\/strong> Tv show was in the works, and that it would include none other than Agent Phil Coulson<\/strong> as one of its primary cast members. While Info was\u00a0scarce\u00a0about its time line and the production, it has now been confirmed today that it will indeed take place after The Avengers<\/em><\/strong>, which begs the question, Is Coulson<\/strong> alive? or will he be featured primarily in Flash Backs.<\/p>\n

The report comes from none other than IGN<\/a>, who caught up with ABC President Paul Lee<\/strong>, who revealed this about the TV shows pilot.
\n<\/a><\/p>\n

“There is no question that it is part of the Marvel Universe. In fact, the story takes place after the battle for New York.”<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But despite its obvious Connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was also revealed that this show may be presented as more stand alone.<\/p>\n

“This is S.H.I.E.L.D. They\u2019re following their own particular stories. There are characters in it, Coulson, who clearly comes from Avengers. So it\u2019s part of the world, but we\u2019re going to be very, very careful that we don\u2019t tread on the toes of the features and build a whole new world. And that\u2019s what Joss Whedon does better than anybody else. He\u2019s built a world for us.”<\/b><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When asked about potentially seeing more Marvel Characters and having some of the lesser known\u00a0introduced through the show.<\/div>\n

“I think if we\u2019re lucky enough to have a great series, we\u2019re obviously having fun with that. At this point though, we have a number of characters at the heart of the script who are real characters, who are the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and the first task is to make those guys great and relatable and everything that a great show needs. Beyond that, fingers crossed!”<\/b><\/i><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
\"ClarkWhile no\u00a0official\u00a0confirmation was given about the time line or use to Agent Coulson<\/strong>, as of right now the biggest rumors are suggesting that its going to be\u00a0merely in\u00a0flash backs, but I for one\u00a0wouldn’t\u00a0mind seeing a reveal of his death in The\u00a0Avengers<\/em><\/strong> not being\u00a0permanent.<\/div>\n
