{"id":6313,"date":"2012-10-22T21:36:49","date_gmt":"2012-10-23T04:36:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wakingideas.com\/blog\/?p=6313"},"modified":"2012-10-22T21:36:49","modified_gmt":"2012-10-23T04:36:49","slug":"rumors-some-huge-rumors-emerge-for-iron-man-3-and-thor-the-dark-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/?p=6313","title":{"rendered":"Some huge rumors emerge for IRON MAN 3 and THOR: The Dark World"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6314\" title=\"iron-man-3-concept-art\" src=\"http:\/\/wakingideas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/iron-man-3-concept-art-1024x665.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"402\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Earlier today the site<a href=\"http:\/\/screenrant.com\/iron-man-3-thor-2-spoilers-rumors\/all\/1\/\"> ScreenRant<\/a> posted some very interesting rumors for both <strong><em>IRON MAN 3<\/em><\/strong> and<em><strong> THOR: The Dark World<\/strong><\/em>, which include spoilers, plot points, and possible\u00a0character\u00a0deaths.<\/p>\n<p><strong>**Possible spoilers below, read on at your own\u00a0discretion.**\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Recently stuntman <strong>Andrew Lawden<\/strong> was talking with <a href=\"http:\/\/thegungancouncil.podbean.com\/2012\/10\/20\/episode-54-marvel-and-phantom-menace-with-andrew-lawden\/\">Bombad Radio<\/a>, and during the conversation let out some very interesting bits for both\u00a0\u00a0<strong><em>IRON MAN 3<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and<em><strong>\u00a0THOR: The Dark World<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>In \u00a0regards to<em><strong> THOR: THE DARK WORLD<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Thor becomes reunited with Jane who becomes possessed by a Dark Spirit, which is connected with the Dark Elves; a race the Asgardians have fallen out with many years beforehand [&#8230;] The Dark Elves attack Asgard, and they take a huge hit. So Thor has to rebuild Asgard by putting together an army to go and take the battle to the Dark Elves and defeat them. But the only way he can do this is \u2013 he needs to cross over to the Dark World, and the only person who has access to the dark side of Asgard is his old brother Loki, who at the beginning of the film is locked up in prison.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So what happens is Thor basically has to negotiate this truce with Loki, and he goes on this great trek with Jane, all three of them. They go to this far side of Asgard, which is being shot in Iceland, where they train and assemble an army to go and attack the Dark Elves\u2019 world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut the exclusive twist\u2026is that one of the things that happens during the Asgardian attack is that Thor\u2019s mother gets killed. So it becomes like a vengeance thing. And they were keeping very tight-lipped about what actually happens with Loki, you don\u2019t know whether he redeems himself or he\u2019s still the bad egg.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In regards to <strong><em>IRON MAN 3<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWell, there\u2019s going to be a big fight sequence with The Mandarin, who\u2019s the main villain, which will involve none other than forty different iron man suits. There\u2019s an amazing rescue where The Mandarin basically wants to bring down the American government and kill the President, and he launches an attack on Air Force One. All of them \u2013 the President and his men and staff \u2013 get sucked out of the plane, and Iron Man rescues them by forming this amazing human chain in the sky.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s some pretty spectacular stuff that goes on. There\u2019s an amazing sequence where he has this rooftop house that he builds to store all his Iron Man suits, and it gets attacked by The Mandarin and these gunships [&#8230;] I was shocked to discover there are like forty Iron Man suits written into this feature in various ways\u2026so that\u2019s going to be pretty impressive. But apparently he needs this Iron Man army to go up against The Mandarin\u2019s forces.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>While all of this does indeed sound wonderful, it seems fans can only wait and see what lies in these two films. But it is interesting to note that this\u00a0isn&#8217;t\u00a0the first time we have heard these rumors, but there are some slight differences. Both rumors have been indeed posted here on <strong>WakingIdeas<\/strong>, but the biggest difference was that the rumor about THOR&#8217;s parent dying was first rumored to be his father Odin, and now it seems his mother is going to be killed off.
