The character of<strong> Mary Jane Watson<\/strong>\u00a0is the most well known as the love interest of Peter Parker in the previous trilogy played by <strong>Kirsten Dunst<\/strong> in <strong>Sam Raimi&#8217;s <em>Spider-Man<\/em> trilogy<\/strong>. <strong>Woodley<\/strong> is rumored to be the studio&#8217;s leading choice for this role.<\/p>\n<p>While the rumor that the studio is seeking out an actor for the role of <strong>Harry Osborn<\/strong> seems to point to the rumors that<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6197 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/wakingideas.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/406px-Electrocloseup.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"406\" height=\"321\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Norman Osborn<\/strong> may indeed be playing a significant role in future installments, and while many have been wondering and speculating who the character was in the first film&#8217;s post-credits scene, which featured <strong>Michael Massee<\/strong> in an unspecified role, rumors seem to point as his\u00a0involvement\u00a0in the film but not as <strong>Electro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Although production doesn&#8217;t begin for a few more months, rumors like these could still come out in the woodwork and obviously there&#8217;s still plenty of time for <strong>Sony<\/strong> to decide which villain they want to actually take on <strong>Spider-Man<\/strong> in the upcoming sequel.
