Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> Tickets Go On Sale July 20th; Runtime Revealed<\/h2>\n\n\n

The countdown to Avengers: Doomsday<\/strong><\/em> officially begins on July 20th<\/strong>, when Disney opens<\/a> advance ticket sales for select premium-format screenings. However, these won’t be traditional IMAX showings. Instead, tickets will be available exclusively for Infinity Vision<\/strong>, Disney’s newly launched premium large format theater brand created after Warner Bros. secured the majority of IMAX screens for Dune: Part III<\/em> during the films’ shared December 18 release weekend. The early ticket rollout also revealed the film’s current runtime of 165 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes)<\/strong>, making it longer than Avengers: Infinity War<\/strong><\/em> but shorter than Avengers: Endgame<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Horror Icons Are Coming Back Into The Fold: Crystal Lake & Nightmare on Elm Street <\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n

Horror fans have plenty to be excited about, as two of the genre’s most iconic franchises took major steps forward this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First up, Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/strong> unveiled our first official look at\u00a0Crystal Lake<\/strong><\/em>, Peacock<\/strong> and A24<\/strong>‘s upcoming\u00a0Friday the 13th<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0prequel series. The newly released images feature Linda Cardellini<\/strong> as Pamela Voorhees<\/strong>, with the series set to explore her tragic descent into one of horror’s most infamous killers before the events of the original 1980 film.\u00a0Crystal Lake<\/em>\u00a0is currently slated to premiere on\u00a0October 15<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Freddy Krueger<\/strong> is officially<\/a> making his long-awaited return to the big screen. Paramount<\/strong> has secured the rights to Wes Craven<\/strong>‘s original A Nightmare on Elm Street<\/strong><\/em> screenplay and is developing a brand-new film. While the project remains in its earliest stages, with no director, cast, or release date announced, the involvement of Craven’s estate marks a promising new chapter for the legendary slasher franchise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
