When James Gunn<\/strong> revealed some of the projects that will usher in the DCU’s Chapter One: Gods & Monsters<\/strong>, one project that stood out in particular was the announcement of a Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow<\/em><\/strong> film. The film, which is expected to be heavily influenced by Tom King’s<\/strong> acclaimed run with the character, hasn’t had major developments besides tapping Ana Nogueria<\/strong> as the scribe for the film. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, rumors have circulated that Supergirl will have a role in Gunn’s inaugural DCU film, Superman: Legacy,<\/em><\/strong> and we now have confirmation on who will play Kara Zor-El<\/strong>. Last night, Gunn confirmed on social media that Milly Alcock<\/strong>, best known for her work on HBO’s Game of Thrones<\/strong> spinoff House of the Dragon<\/em><\/strong> as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen<\/strong>, will play the cousin of David Corenswet’s Superman<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
