The upcoming <strong>Superman<\/strong> film slated for release in 2025 will begin filming in March this year, according to a response from James Gunn on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.threads.net\/@jamesgunn\/post\/C1tGDEog256\">Threads<\/a> feed. He also commented in the feed that fans will not see a trailer for the film this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"820\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/21xfour-superman-2-1-820x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43077\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/21xfour-superman-2-1-820x1024.png 820w, https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/21xfour-superman-2-1-240x300.png 240w, https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/21xfour-superman-2-1-768x959.png 768w, https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/21xfour-superman-2-1.png 955w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 820px) 100vw, 820px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This shouldn&#8217;t surprise fans. The movie has yet to begin filming, and once it has been filmed, there will be a lengthy editing and special effects process. For a highly anticipated film with a slightly &#8220;controversial&#8221; background for those keeping up with the fall of the DCEU\/rise of the DCU, Gunn will surely want to release a trailer that will captivate fans and draw in a large audience.
