However, none of these leaks have been confirmed, so have your grains of salt in hand as we advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What we do know fo sure is that the new Bioshock game is being developed by <strong>Cloud Chamber<\/strong>, a new internal studio from <strong>2K<\/strong>. Creatives working on the project include lead art director <strong>Scott Sinclair<\/strong>, who had worked on the first\u00a0<em>BioShock<\/em>, <strong>Jonathan Pelling<\/strong> as design director who previously did level work for\u00a0<em>BioShock<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Infinite<\/em>, and <strong>Hogarth de la Plante<\/strong> as creative director after having worked on the other\u00a0<em>BioShock<\/em>\u00a0games in numerous roles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ken Levine<\/strong>, the creative director of the previous <em>Bioshock<\/em> games, will not be part of the new project. Instead, he will be busy working on a new title as part of his studio <strong>Ghost Story Games<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, further possible leaks come via the Twitter account @oopsleaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first bit of juicy info is a potential title and logo for the in-development game and a few key details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bioshock?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bioshock<\/a> Isolation (title may change) logo variant<br><br>&#8211; Set in a new-to-franchise isolated dystopian city<br>&#8211; Unreal Engine 5<br>&#8211; Developed by Irrational Games veterans and people who worked on Watch Dogs: Legion, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Mafia 3, Deus Ex: MD<br>&#8211; Announcement Q1 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/BwyXKp1LKK\">pic.twitter.com\/BwyXKp1LKK<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Oops Leaks (@oopsleaks) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/oopsleaks\/status\/1460898270327279617?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 17, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be clear, this logo is apparently two years old and was likely one of many concepts proposed in the studio. It, therefore, may not accurately reflect the final look and title of the game, but the title, &#8220;Isolation&#8221;, suggests that there may be a more claustrophic atmosphere for the open world environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second, and perhaps more revealing bit of info is of a map of the new dystopian city to explore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A slide from the new <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bioshock?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bioshock<\/a> game pitching presentation. <br><br>There might be two cities with radically different ideology, one of them located underground right below the other, both sharing a &quot;flipside&quot; border zone with an unleashed &quot;vertical war&quot;. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Cy6fddJmV1\">pic.twitter.com\/Cy6fddJmV1<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Oops Leaks (@oopsleaks) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/oopsleaks\/status\/1464601461770358793?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 27, 2021<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Granted, the above slide likely leaked form a pitching presentation, so concepts could have shifted since then. But It looks as if there will be two cities, or one big city that extends both directions vertically, depending how you look at it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can also expect a pretty serious class struggle. The top city will apparently be were all the extravagant wealth is to be found, with the bottom, upside-down city being quite poor and isolated. The associated logo&#8217;s of the bird and cage with each city showcase an interesting theme of how clocely wealth is tied to freedom and independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This storytelling direction would be in line with how <em>Infinite<\/em>\u00a0ditched the horror and underwater aesthetics for a more political and philosophically guided journey in the clouds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These leaks come on the heels of a <a href=\"https:\/\/theresalwaysalighthouse.com\/\">mysterious website<\/a> appearing a few days ago, which many have speculated to be initial marketing for the new Bioshock title.
