The official trailer for\u00a0The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>has been released by Warner Bros.\u00a0<\/strong>This is the third installment in\u00a0The Conjuring<\/strong>\u00a0franchise spearheaded by\u00a0James Wan<\/strong>, who went on to direct DC Comics<\/strong>\u2019\u00a0Aquaman<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0film. Though Wan does not direct\u00a0the film, he did co-write the script with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick<\/strong>;\u00a0Michael Chaves<\/strong>\u00a0(The Curse of La Llorona<\/strong><\/em>) takes on the director\u2019s chair. The story adapts the case of\u00a0Arne Cheyenne-Johnson<\/strong>, a real-life story where a man accused of manslaughter claimed to be possessed by a demon.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Patrick Wilson<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Vera Farmiga<\/strong>, who starred in the first two films, reprise their roles as the Warrens. They are joined by Julian Hilliard (The Haunting of Hill House<\/em><\/strong>), who will play a child who is also demon-possessed. Sterling Jerins<\/strong>, Bonnie Aarons<\/strong>, Shannon Kook<\/strong> and Ingrid Bisu<\/strong> will also star in the film.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
