One of Marvel Studios<\/strong>‘ most anticipated Disney+<\/strong> projects is starting to round up its cast. It has been confirmed that May Calamawy<\/strong> has been casted in a key role for Moon Knight<\/em><\/strong>. The MCU <\/strong>Phase 4 series will star Oscar Issac<\/strong> in the title role <\/a>of Marc Spector\/Moon Knight. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not much is known about the show other than it will be directed by Mohamed Diab<\/a><\/strong>, and production is expected to begin this March in Budapest.<\/a> The series will also have Gregory Middleton <\/strong>(Game of Thrones, Watchmen<\/em><\/strong>) as cinematographer and Stefania Celia<\/strong> (Morbius<\/em><\/strong>) as set designer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calamawy is known for her perfomance as Dena Hassan<\/strong> in the Hulu<\/strong> series Ramy<\/em><\/strong>. Her role in Moon Knight is still unknown, but fans could speculate that she can either play Marlene<\/strong> (Spector’s love intrest) or the villain Typhoid Mary<\/strong>. Nevertheless, the possibility of her playing an original character for the show can’t be counted out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, it has been announced that Moon Knight <\/em>will consist of 6 episodes with a running time of 40-50 minutes. The episode count and running time for Falcon and the Winter Soldier<\/em><\/strong>, Loki<\/em><\/strong>, and She-Hulk<\/em><\/strong> were also revealed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
