Fan\u2019s excitement surrounding Marvel Studios<\/strong> first Disney+<\/strong> show, WandaVision<\/strong><\/em>, is certainly ramping as we inch closer to the show\u2019s debut that is slated for January 15, 2021. While Elizabeth Olsen<\/strong>\u2019s Wanda Maximoff \/ Scarlet Witch<\/strong> is set for lead role in the multiverse-bending series, fans have been looking forward to her next role in the highly anticipated Doctor Strange<\/em><\/strong> sequel, Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness<\/em><\/strong>. Now, fans wondering when exactly the actress would begin filming her scenes for the film have found an answer through Empire Magazine\u2019s<\/em><\/strong> feature piece on WandaVision<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an excerpt extracted from\u00a0Empire Magazine<\/em>‘s feature story, the author notes that by the time the piece focused on\u00a0WandaVision<\/em>\u2019s details was published (today), Olsen would be filming on the set of\u00a0Doctor Strange\u00a0in the Multiverse of Madness<\/em>\u00a0in London. By now, it\u2019s well known that the connective tissue between WandaVision<\/em>\u00a0and the Multiverse of Madness will be that the ramifications of the series\u2019 plot will lead directly into the story of the\u00a0Doctor Strange<\/em> sequel.With Wanda jumping from\u00a0WandaVision\u00a0<\/em>into\u00a0Multiverse of Madness<\/em>\u00a0and Dr. Strange jumping from the Multiverse of Madness<\/em> into\u00a0the untitled third Spider-Man<\/strong><\/em> film, it will certainly be interesting to see who makes up the key players in Phase 4<\/strong> of the Marvel Cinematic Universe<\/strong>. With the MCU in a bit of a gray area currently, fans are certainly excited to hear that Marvel Studios is moving forward despite the challenges faced from the ongoing COVID-19<\/strong> pandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WandaVision<\/em> will see\u00a0Paul Bettany<\/strong> reprising the role of\u00a0Vision<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Elizabeth Olsen\u00a0returning to the role of\u00a0Wanda Maximoff\/Scarlet Witch.\u00a0In addition, Randall Park\u2019s<\/strong> Jimmy Woo (Ant-Man and The Wasp<\/em>)<\/strong>, Kat Dennings<\/strong>\u2019 Darcy Lewis (Thor & Thor: The Dark World<\/em>)<\/strong>, and\u00a0Teyonah Parris\u2019<\/strong> adult Monica Rambeau (Captain Marvel<\/em>)<\/strong> are also expected to reprise their respective roles from previous MCU entires. The six episode series is described as a cross between\u00a0an old-school-style-sitcom mixed with the action and storyline\u00a0Marvel fans have become accustomed to seeing in theaters. WandaVision<\/em> is currently scheduled to be released on January 15th, 2021 exclusively on Disney+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness<\/em>, Benedict Cumberbatch\u00a0returns as\u00a0Dr. Stephen Strange and Elizabeth Olsen joins him as Wanda Maximoff\/Scarlet Witch. The events of the Disney+ series WandaVision<\/em>\u00a0will tie-in directly to the movie\u2019s plot. Although original director\u00a0Scott Derrickson<\/strong>\u00a0left due to \u201ccreative differences\u201d, Sam Raimi<\/strong>, original Spider-Man<\/em> trilogy director, has been tapped to helm the film. Previously scheduled for\u00a0May 7, 2021, Doctor Stephen Strange\u2019s return\u00a0has been pushed back almost a full year, hitting theaters on March 25, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
