He famously played the outspoken resistance fighter, <strong>Poe Dameron<\/strong>. No stranger to superhero films, you may remember Isaac appearing as the big blue villain in <strong><em>X-Men: Apocalypse<\/em><\/strong> in 2016. Other notable roles included <em><strong>Inside Llewyn Davis<\/strong><\/em>, <strong><em>Ex Machina<\/em><\/strong>,<em><strong> Drive<\/strong><\/em>, and <em><strong>A Most Violent Year<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Moon Knight<\/em>, aka <em><strong>Marc Spector<\/strong><\/em>, is an ex-marine turned mercenary who has to juggle multiple alter egos that can aide in his crime fighting. Two of his lead personalities include are a lonely cab driver named <em><strong>Jake Lockley<\/strong><\/em> and a wealthy playboy named <strong><em>Steven Grant<\/em><\/strong>. The character first appeared in the  comic <em>Werewolf by Night #32<\/em> in 1975. Later on, after having his own comic series, and background story developed, it was said that Spector turned to a life of fighting crime after becoming a vessel\/conduit for the Egyptian moon god <em><strong>Khonshu<\/strong><\/em>. The most recent iteration of the anti-hero has him sporting an all white suit, going by the name <strong><em>Mr. Knight<\/em><\/strong>, of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Disney+ series is being developed by writer <strong>Jeremy Slater<\/strong>, best known for his widely popular<strong> Netflix<\/strong> series <em><strong>The Umbrella Academy<\/strong><\/em>. Slater has also penned the scripts to films such as 2015&#8217;s <strong><em>Fantastic Four<\/em><\/strong>, Netflix&#8217;s <em><strong>Death Note<\/strong><\/em>, and horror-drama <em><strong>The Lazarus Effect<\/strong><\/em>. Slater will serve as head developer and writer for the <em>Moon Knight<\/em> series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This upcoming series is just one of many that are deep in development and even a few that are nearly finished and in line to premiere like <strong><em>WandaVision<\/em><\/strong>, and <em><strong>The Falcon and The Winter Soldier<\/strong><\/em>. Other upcoming <strong>MCU <\/strong>Disney+ series include <strong><em>Loki<\/em><\/strong> starring <strong>Tom Hiddleston<\/strong>, <em><strong>Hawkeye<\/strong><\/em> starring <strong>Jeremy Renner<\/strong>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/2020\/09\/disney-plus-cast-newcomer-iman-vellani-as-title-character-in-ms-marvel-series\/\"><strong><em>Ms. Marvel <\/em><\/strong>starring newcomer<strong> Iman Vellani<\/strong> <\/a>as the titular character. A <a href=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/2020\/09\/samuel-l-jackson-to-reprise-the-role-of-nick-fury-in-new-marvel-disney-plus-series\/\"><strong><em>Nick Fury<\/em><\/strong> series is also in the works<\/a>, with <strong>Samuel L. Jackson <\/strong>expected to return as the lead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"551\" height=\"153\" src=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Screen-Shot-2020-10-26-at-8.24.56-PM.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Screen-Shot-2020-10-26-at-8.24.56-PM.png 551w, https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Screen-Shot-2020-10-26-at-8.24.56-PM-300x83.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 551px) 100vw, 551px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Marvel is still searching for a lead director and there is no production schedule set as of now. <strong>Kevin Feige<\/strong> will executive produce the series, like every other MCU property. <strong>Marvel Studios <\/strong>has also not yet commented on the casting rumor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isaac has a handful of projects lined up for next year including Denis Villeneuve&#8217;s <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/theculturednerd.org\/2020\/10\/denis-villeneuves-dune-pushed-back-to-october-2021\/\">Dune<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, Paul Schrader&#8217;s <em><strong>The Card Counter <\/strong><\/em>and he just recently signed on to star in the <strong>HBO<\/strong> limited series&nbsp;<em><strong>Scenes from a Marriage<\/strong><\/em>. Isaac is represented by <strong>WME<\/strong>, <strong>Inspire Entertainment<\/strong>, and <strong>Goodman Genow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>How do you feel about this casting choice for the Moon Knight series?
